A Quiet Room

The Quiet Room is open from 9.00am - 9.00pm daily located on Grand Parade.

The Quiet Room provides a space for people who may need a calm and quiet environment, taking a break from the hustle and bustle of the Easter Show. The space is designed to ensure comfort and relaxation, helping people manage sensory sensitivities, processing differences or other hidden disabilities. Featuring calm lighting, tactile and visual elements, acoustic panelling, and soft bean bag chairs to help people refocus and recharge .

Parents Room

The Parents Room is light and bright, equipped with essential amenities to cater to the needs of parents and young children, ensuring comfort and convenience during your visit.

Located: Grand Parade 

Includes both family toilet room and separate accessible toilet facilities, nursing spaces with privacy curtains, multiple change tables, and a family relax space with kitchenette facilities.

Public Transport

With plenty of extra trains and Sydney Olympic Park Major Event Buses running regularly throughout the Show, it's easy to get to the Show and back by public transport.  

Details on extra services and transport options will be available at transportnsw.info. Please note, not all special event (or TNSW) bus services have accessible ability - please view the timetable before departing.

Drop off and pick up zones

Patrons can be dropped off on Dawn Fraser Avenue accessed from Edwin Flack Ave. From here it is a short distance to the main entrance of the Sydney Royal Easter Show (located on Olympic Boulevard).

Group transport for people with accessibility needs may use this street parking on this end of Dawn Fraser Avenue (subject to availability).

Parking

All parking stations in Sydney Olympic Park are managed by Sydney Olympic Park Authority (SOPA). Pre-booking of parking is recommended and must be done before the day of the event.

Please note, there is no option to pre-book an accessible parking spot. On entry into the carpark, you will be able to make your way to an accessible parking spot. If parking within a disability bay, a valid Mobility Parking Scheme permit must be visible. The parking lots closest to Showground access are P1 or P8. Plan Your Experience

Plan Your Day

Planning your time at the Show can be a helpful way to make your experience a great one—not just for people with disability but for the entire family.

Some suggested tips include:

• Plan a Visual Schedule
• A Safety Bracelet or Nametag · Watch videos of the Show below; there is lots of movement, colours, and sounds at the Show. Watching some videos can help ease into the Show experience.
• Choose a meeting location in case you get separated.
• Practice waiting in line; this is useful if you're planning on going on rides or purchasing Showbags.
• Have some earplugs or headphones handy.
• Bring a sensory toy or comfort item.
• Transport NSW will be handing out wristbands at the main entry gate. It is recommended to put a contact number should an individual get separated from their group.
• Hidden Disability Lanyards are recognised across the event site. These can be useful for people with neurodiversity to communicate that they may need extra time or assistance.

Toilets

Plan Your Day

Everyone is more than welcome to use any of the toilets, parent rooms and accessibility toilets that are in Sydney Showground. Accessibility toilets are larger and over 50% of these have small showers inside. These toilets can be found via the Show Map which is coming soon.

Carnival Rides

Plan Your Day

Each individual carnival ride has set guidelines of usage that need to be adhered to at all times. Should these guidelines be met by the patrons, carnival operators are available at all times to assist with access. Please note that KIIS Eye is accessible to people who use a wheelchair or mobility device.

Companion Cards (PWD)

Plan Your Day

When purchasing a PWD ticket online, should you have a Companion Card and/or Vision Impaired + Attendant card, you will be able to obtain a complimentary ticket for your companion with your PWD ticket purchase. PWD tickets which also require a carer's ticket are available to those issued with acceptable identification.

*NOTE: PWD After 4pm tickets are also available (only until 11:59pm, 1 April 2026) and include one complimentary Adult ticket for the accompanying carer with a valid Companion Card or Vision Impaired Card.

Mobility equipment available for hire during the Sydney Royal Easter Show includes:

• Small Single Seat Scooter: $110
• Medium Single Seat Scooter: $110
• Large Single Seat Scooter: $110
• Bariatric Wheelchair: $50
• Standard Wheelchair: $50
• Single Stroller: $30
• Twin Stroller: $50

All card transactions are subject to a 1.5% transaction fee. Members of the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW receive a 10% discount on the hire of scooters and wheelchairs, to find out more about becoming a member click here.

How to book

Mobility equipment should be pre-booked online, at https://showlockers.com.au/ Bookings are available to be made on the day at the Show Mobility marquee located on Olympic Boulevard, but is subject to availability. Please note, the hire of all equipment will require a valid credit card. 

Cancellation Policy for Show Mobility equipment hire

If it is necessary to cancel your online booking, a full refund will be made if Show Mobility are advised by email at infoshowmobility@gmail.com no later than 24 hours prior to the start of the day you have booked.

Terms and Conditions of hire

Please carefully read the terms and conditions of hire for the equipment you have selected which are located on the online booking form. You can also access the manual for your equipment within the Terms and Conditions section in the booking form to ensure that the equipment is suitable for your needs and that you are confident in its operation.

Assistance Animals

Plan Your Day

The Sydney Royal Easter Show (SRES) welcomes visitors accompanied by certified Assistance Animals. Assistance Animals are specially trained to support people with disabilities — such as Guide Dogs, Hearing Dogs, and Service Dogs — and have public access rights under the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (DDA).

 To ensure the safety and wellbeing of all guests and animals on site, the SRES may request evidence confirming that an Assistance Animal:

1. Is healthy and vaccinated – provide a current vaccination certificate and confirmation the animal hasn’t travelled internationally in the past 6 months.
2. Is suitably trained – show valid accreditation (e.g. Assistance Dogs Australia, Guide Dogs NSW/ACT, Hearing Assistance Dogs) or other recognised evidence of training.
3. Is not a dangerous breed – confirmation that the animal poses no risk to others.
4. Is clearly identified – must wear an identifiable jacket or harness and remain under control (on leash) at all times.

If an animal cannot meet these requirements, we may lawfully refuse entry in accordance with section 54A(6) of the Disability Discrimination Act 1992.
