A Quiet Room

The Quiet Room is open from 9.00am - 9.00pm daily located on Grand Parade.

The Quiet Room provides a space for people who may need a calm and quiet environment, taking a break from the hustle and bustle of the Easter Show. The space is designed to ensure comfort and relaxation, helping people manage sensory sensitivities, processing differences or other hidden disabilities. Featuring calm lighting, tactile and visual elements, acoustic panelling, and soft bean bag chairs to help people refocus and recharge .

Adult Assisted Change Room

The Adult Assisted Change Room is designed to cater to people with disability, offering a safe and hygienic environment equipped with the necessary facilities to support their needs.

The Adult Assisted Change Room is designed to cater to people with disability, offering a safe and hygienic environment equipped with the necessary facilities to support their needs. Use of the room requires a NSW issued MLAK key & approved harness. A support worker must be present at all times. Includes a fully electric hoist and height-adjustable adult change table. 

Located: Grand Parade.

An additional Adult Assisted Change Room is located on the Engie Stadium concourse. This facility has a height-adjustable adult change table.

Parents Room

The Parents Room is light and bright, equipped with essential amenities to cater to the needs of parents and young children, ensuring comfort and convenience during your visit.

Located: Grand Parade 

Includes both family toilet room and separate accessible toilet facilities, nursing spaces with privacy curtains, multiple change tables, and a family relax space with kitchenette facilities.

All facilities at Sydney Showground have been designed to ensure the best possible accessibility for all patrons.

As part of the Sydney Olympic Park Authority, Sydney Showground have adopted the SOPA Access Guidelines that refer to all building works and infrastructure within the Park, including for temporary events.

All temporary structures at Sydney Showground are also compliant with Federal Disability Discrimination Act (DDA), the NSW Anti-Discrimination Act (ADA), and the relevant Australian Standards including National Construction Code Series (NCC) and AS 1428 Design for Access and Mobility. This ensures that inclusions such as compliant ramps, height of serving counters and full accessibility to the space is across the whole site.
